I am producing a music video for my advanced portfolio for my A-Level Media coursework in Islamabad. 

I am aware that you are the copyright owner of the song "Nutshell" by Alice in Chains, for which I would like to request permission for using the song's official instrumentals in my music video, as I will be recording a cover of it. 

As a student, the video will only be distributed to a limited audience consisting of my fellow media students, friends and my teacher. It will also be uploaded on YouTube for more reach and engagement, as required for feedback. I hope to receive your allowance to use the music for the video free of charge.

Full credit to the artist will be given throughout the production process and the final video itself. Your signature and approval will show that you authorized the use without payment of a fee. Please inform any issues relating to this license. Additionally, please contact me as soon as possible if the music cannot be used so that we can arrange the relevant changes.
