PRACTICE : Bohemian Rhapsody

Sir Nadeem accompanied us for another practice project where we played with lighting. My friends, Zara, Hamd, Alizeh, Mishaal and I were there. Sir had brought his large video lights and I had also brought my little warm video light. We wanted to create hazy lighting but instead of using a fog machine, Sir Nadeem brought a humidifier.

We turned all the lights off and used only the video lights to create a chiaroscuro lighting effect. Zara and Hamd became our actors. The mist from the humidifier wasn't as strong as we expected but that was on us because the room was too large and it was taking longer to fill it up with the haze. We carried on regardless. The lighting was reminiscent of the one in the music video for Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, so we decided to make a short lip sync to that song. We shot multiple takes and I edited the best ones into a video, using different effects like "crystal" and "fisheye" to make the video more vivid and fun.
